📖 Story（Advanced Version）
It was a brilliant Sunday morning when the four friends finally arrived in Asakusa.
The majestic Kaminarimon gate towered above them, its massive red lantern glowing vividly against the clear blue sky.
Lucas paused for a moment, taking in the scene.
“I’ve seen pictures of this place,” he said quietly, “but standing here in person feels completely different.”
Lily nodded in agreement.
“There’s something powerful about it. It feels alive.”
Kotaro felt a quiet sense of pride hearing their reactions.
“This gate has welcomed visitors for centuries,” he explained. “It represents both tradition and resilience.”
They strolled along Nakamise Street, sampling freshly made snacks and browsing small souvenir shops.
Laughter echoed between the narrow paths as they compared flavors and shared impressions.
Eventually, they settled into a traditional café tucked away from the busy street.
Soft instrumental music played in the background as each of them ordered a bowl of carefully prepared matcha.
Kotaro watched Lucas and Lily closely as they lifted the cups to their lips.
“Well?” he asked with a slight smile.
Lily closed her eyes briefly before answering.
“It’s deeper than I expected — slightly bitter, but incredibly refined.”
Lucas nodded thoughtfully.
“It’s not just a drink. It feels like an experience.”
Kotaro felt something shift inside him.
He was no longer struggling to find words.
He was sharing his culture — confidently, naturally.
As the sun began to set, golden light spread across the temple grounds.
The atmosphere grew calm, almost reflective.
“I’ll miss days like this,” Kotaro admitted softly.
“When you return home.”
Lucas placed a hand on his shoulder.
“Friendship doesn’t disappear with distance,” he said. “We’ll carry this memory with us.”
Kotaro looked at the glowing sky above Asakusa and realized something important.
English had started as a challenge.
Then it became a goal.
Now, it had become a bridge.
Not just between languages —
but between hearts.

まぶしい日曜日の朝、4人はついに浅草へ到着しました。

仲見世通りを歩きながら、お菓子を味わい、お土産を見て回ります。
笑い声が小道に響き、感想を言い合う時間はあっという間に過ぎました。
やがて、4人は落ち着いた和風カフェへ入りました。
丁寧に点てられた抹茶が運ばれてきます。
ルーカスとリリーが口に運ぶ様子を、コタローはそっと見つめました。
「どう？」と微笑みながら聞きます。
リリーは目を閉じて言いました。
「思ったより深い味。少し苦いけど、とても上品。」
ルーカスも静かにうなずきます。
「ただの飲み物じゃないね。体験そのものだ。」
その瞬間、コタローの中で何かが変わりました。
もう言葉を探している自分はいませんでした。
自分の文化を、自然に伝えている自分がいました。
夕日が境内を黄金色に染めます。
「こういう日、きっと忘れない」とコタローは言いました。
「帰国したら、さびしくなるな。」
「距離があっても友情は消えないよ」とルーカス。
「この思い出はずっと一緒だ。」
浅草の空を見上げながら、コタローは気づきました。
英語は、最初は壁だった。
次は目標になった。
そして今は――橋になった。
言葉を越えて、心をつなぐ橋に。
